Common questions

Do I need an account to browse?

No. Browsing and searching are open to everyone. Sign in when you want to save an item, post a listing, or message a seller.

What does it cost to sell?

Posting is free, and KeystoneXchange takes no commission. You arrange payment directly with the buyer.

How long does my listing stay up?

A listing expires after 14 days. If it has not sold, you can renew it and lower the price to help it find a buyer.

How do pickup and payment work?

Use messages to agree on the details. Inspect the item before paying the seller directly at pickup. KeystoneXchange does not process payments for marketplace items.

How do I change my pickup ZIP?

Open My Account, then Profile settings. Your account ZIP is the default pickup ZIP for new listings.

How do I report a listing or conversation?

Open the three-dot menu on the listing or conversation and choose the report option. Explain the concern so the moderation team can review it.

Can I appeal a review?

Yes. Open Appeals from your account and choose the review you received. Explain what should be reconsidered. A low rating alone does not automatically remove a review.

When will I receive notification emails?

Choose instant emails, a summary, or no email for each notification type. Summaries are sent at 6 AM, noon, 6 PM, and midnight in your saved timezone, only when there are new unread updates. Open Notifications → Email preferences to choose your settings.

Is my exact address public?

Your account ZIP sets your default pickup area. Your ZIP code is not displayed on your public profile. Share specific pickup details privately when you arrange a handoff.
