Ratings Policy
Effective October 29, 2026
Ratings help members know who they’re dealing with. They only work if they’re honest.
Who can rate
Ratings come only from completed deals. When a seller marks an item sold to a specific buyer, the buyer and the seller can each rate the other. You can rate each member only once.
What a rating includes
- 1 to 5 stars, with optional written text.
- Ratings are shown separately as “as seller” and “as buyer.”
- Ratings are visible to signed-in members.
Ratings are permanent
To keep ratings trustworthy, they can’t be edited or deleted by the person who wrote them. Take a moment before you post. If a rating contains a factual error, email contact@keystonexchange.com.
Not allowed
- Offering, paying, or rewarding someone for a rating.
- Demanding or threatening a rating, including offering to change or remove one in exchange for a refund, a discount, or anything else.
- Rating yourself, or rating through another account.
- Names, addresses, or other personal information in review text.
- Profanity, threats, harassment, or hate speech.
- Reviews about something other than the deal.
How we handle ratings
- We never hide or remove a rating because it is negative.
- A person reviews every reported rating. We only hide a rating if it breaks this policy.
- If you believe a rating breaks this policy, use the Report button on it. If you received a visible review you believe should be removed, you can submit a review appeal on the Appeals page. For other questions about a report decision, contact support.
- Breaking this policy can lead to removal, a warning, suspension, or permanent account closure, as described in our Community Guidelines.
